Nashville Song Service will herein be referred to as NSS.
NSS and client agrees to the following: NSS has sole discretion in crafting melody to clients lyrics. NSS staff writer may add, change, or delete lyrics if he or she deems it necessary to fit song structure so as to enhance songs overall marketability. * If you do not want NSS to add, change, or delete any lyrics please read and initial below.
Once order form and monies are received, NSS may take up to 10 weeks to finish product. One recording is complete, client will be emailed a high quality mp3 and shipped a CD, if applicable. Finished product shall include the following: song mixed and mastered, , a "music only" track if purchased, an executed contract if applicable.
NSS staff writer and client shall be deemed equal co-writers. NSS and client shall be deemed equal co-publishers. Song is comprised of fifty percent writers share and fifty percent publishers share to equal one hundred percent. Of that one hundred percent NSS shall own twenty five percent (publishers share), NSS staff writer shall own twenty five percent (writers share), client shall own twenty five percent (publishers share), client shall own twenty five percent (writers share).
NSS may promote / pitch song to any and all of NSS music industry contacts in effort to secure a major recording. In the event of a proposed recording of song, NSS will contact client via phone or mail. NSS asks clients to keep calls to a minimum regarding this matter. This constitutes the full understanding of this agreement.
